Position Overview:

The membership coordinator plays an essential role in supporting the effective operations and sustainability of CDISC and critical customer support to CDISC members including, but not limited to processing new and renewing memberships, maintenance of CDISC membership database and online resource tools. The Membership Coordinator at CDISC is responsible forgenerating new leads and expanding our membership base through consistent and repeatable outreach efforts. This role involves conducting regular outreach using existing lists and LinkedIn Sales Navigator to identify and attract new members. The ideal candidate will be an engaged writer with an energetic personality, capable of effectively communicating CDISC's value proposition and benefits across multiple channels. Location: Remote Hybrid, located in Austin, TX preferred

Salary: Annual salary US$50,000.00 - $65,000.00

Reports to: Director of Community Partnerships

Position Type: Exempt, Full-Time

Responsibilities:

• Conduct regular outreach to potential members using existing lists and LinkedIn Sales Navigator. Proactively reach out to accounts needing additional assistance or training. Intuitively connect members to appropriate internal stakeholders.
• Follow-up with members, anticipating communication styles, cadences and needs. Function as the first point of contact and include management outreach for escalation.
• Provide excellent customer service to CDISC members and the global community.
• Create membership dashboards and reports to showcase membership analytics to a diverse set of audiences. Interpret findings within the dashboards and reports to make suggestions or call out areas of interest.
• Research industry trends and provide reports on potential members to leadership.
• Maintain a solid understanding of CDISC's industry, projects, value proposition, members, member current events, and similar items. Provide occasional internal training on findings, when appropriate.
• Implement current industry and marketing techniques to attract new members. Identify and attract new members through consistent and repeatable outreach efforts.
• Communicate CDISC's value proposition and benefits across multiple channels. Promote CDISC’s offerings and resources to grow the membership base.
• Support the organization’s mission to advance research and global health.
• Create and assist in the collection of membership surveys. Assist with data entry and maintenance tasks as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Minimal experience level; must be coachable and willing to learn.
• Strong written and verbal professional communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Competencies in both detail-oriented work and strategic thinking.
• Ability to provide enthusiastic and engaging customer service orientation with attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in hospitality, business administration, or related field.
• 2 years' work experience or equivalent volunteer/internship experience in sales, marketing, association management or non-profit space.
• Demonstrated proficiency in writing.

Physical Activities:

This position is primarily sedentary. Work will be conducted in a standard office environment, requiring the ability to operate office equipment such as a keyboard. Must have the ability to lift 10 pounds and navigate short distances within the workplace and at events. Must be able to travel domestically and internationally by car, airplane or other transit.
