Austin, TX – The Clinical Data Interchange Standards Consortium (CDISC) is pleased to announce the return of Dr. Nicole Harmon, PhD, as its new Chief Operating Officer (COO). Dr. Harmon, a distinguished leader with over 20 years of experience across nonprofit, healthcare, research, and technology sectors, will oversee CDISC's operational strategies, furthering its mission to amplify data’s impact to advance research.
Dr. Harmon brings a wealth of expertise in operational excellence, strategic partnerships, and financial sustainability. Most recently, she served as President and COO at Cohen Veterans Bioscience (CVB), a national nonprofit focused on advancing brain health. At CVB, Dr. Harmon was instrumental in driving key initiatives internally and externally to advance research, policy and patient advocacy initiatives, develop robust systems to strengthen infrastructure, and diversify funding streams.
This appointment marks Dr. Harmon’s return to CDISC, where she previously played a pivotal role in transforming the organization’s financial strategy, global brand, and program management. During her earlier tenure at CDISC, Dr. Harmon successfully forged impactful partnerships with leading global health organizations, including the FDA and other regulatory agencies securing vital funding for multiple large-scale initiatives.
